About Our Atlanta HVAC Repair Service

What AC Repair Atlanta is

AC Repair Atlanta is a dispatch service for air conditioning and HVAC repair across metro Atlanta. When you call, we route you to an independent HVAC contractor serving your area, and that contractor diagnoses, prices and performs the work. We exist because finding a trustworthy HVAC company in Atlanta is harder than it should be — the top of the search results is dominated by directories and aggregators — and because a focused, repair-only service can answer the phone faster and quote more honestly than a company whose business model depends on selling replacements.

Who does the work

All field work is performed by independent contractors holding the Georgia Conditioned Air Contractor license that state law requires for this trade (commercial work requires the unrestricted Class II). You can verify any Georgia license free on the Secretary of State's public license search, and we encourage you to ask for the servicing contractor's name and license number when you book. Refrigerant handling is performed by technicians holding EPA Section 608 certification, as federal law requires.

The rules we hold ourselves to

• No invented reviews or ratings. You will find no testimonials on this site, because we will not publish reviews we cannot link to their source. Ask for the servicing contractor's Google or BBB profile and read the real thing there.
• No fake credentials. We publish a license number only when the licensed partner has agreed to have it published, and never anyone else's.
• Honest hours. The line is answered 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM ET, 7 days a week. We do not print "24/7" on the site because we do not staff 24/7 dispatch; after-hours messages are dispatched first thing the next morning.
• Real prices with sources. Every price range on this site comes with its source and the date it was collected, and every page says the same thing: the exact price is confirmed after diagnosis, before work starts.
• No scare selling. A cracked heat exchanger means shutdown — that one is real. Most other "you need a new system today" claims deserve a second opinion, and we will tell you when they do.
• Home systems only. We do not repair automotive air conditioning — if your car AC is down, you need an auto repair shop.
